In western Uganda, twenty kilometers from the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is the Bundibugyo, a city known for its cocoa production. The community lies at an altitude of 800 meters, nestled in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, which runs between Uganda, Rwanda and D.R.C. It is a wonderful place where rain clouds come down from the mountain tops all day and the jungle is full of life. No wonder cocoa trees love to grow here.

These beans are harvested in the Semuliki Forest in Bundibugyo. Cocoa offers very cocoa tones, as well as hints of dried fruit and red fruit, which mix to a slight bitterness.

Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, whiskey (2.5%)
